Beatrix is wearing trousers. I have not seen that very often and now in a short time twice.:ermm:
 
You are right. She would normally only wear trousers when sailing, volunteering or in Lech. She might begin to have a little more trouble moving/walking in which case trousers might be a bit easier than a (over the knee length) skirt.
 
Princess Beatrix looks lovely like always. For many years, she was Queen and dressed the part, most lady’s in a dress, melon snd heels. Now, she can relax and wear more comfortable outfits even if ‘working’. What a lovely and elegant Lady!

Well said. She is no longer Queen, so can be more relaxed about the way she dresses.

Beatrix never really lost her queenly style and almost always looks impeccable and polished even at relaxed engagements.

Still the best dressed Dutch royal lady by a very long long chalk.

What I love about Beatrix is her consistency/attention and knows her style and what suits and looks the part.
